Join Seneca Mechanical's installation team helping build complete commercial and industrial HVAC systems. This role focuses on laying out and installing ductwork, fittings, hangers, and air distribution components from project drawings and field measurements.
You will work with the field supervisor, fabrication team, and other trades to fit ductwork accurately, seal connections, and resolve installation conflicts. The work calls for attention to detail, safe tool use, and consistent communication from layout through final inspection.
What you will do
- Read HVAC drawings and use field measurements to plan ductwork installation
- Install duct sections, fittings, transitions, hangers, and supports to project specifications
- Install grilles, registers, diffusers, and dampers as shown on project drawings
- Fit, fasten, and seal duct connections and check alignment and clearances
- Coordinate field measurements and material needs with the supervisor and fabrication team
- Assist with installation inspections, punch-list work, and preparation for testing and balancing
- Follow site safety procedures and keep tools, materials, and work areas organized
